Jefferson Airspace Consider for a moment what the physical form of
the internet would look like, what do you imagine? I see a virtual air space
with many thousands of carriers or 'planes' transporting our messages, pictures
and data above our heads to their destination. The paper planes here on the
mobile represent this activity.
The colours, patterns, and text symbolise messages being sent and received
as they cross paths in space. 25 individual planes are used to signify that
it has been 25 years since the first internet virus was sent. The single white
plane represents this lone virus moving in attack towards the unsuspecting
air space, and as a consequence, changing the way we see network security
forever.
