We have created a sculpture, because for us it best represents the theme “transparency and reflection”. We have chosen a wire construction, which seems very light and fine. Then we put pieces of glass and reflecting materials on it. On the one hand they underline and reflect our theme. But on the other hand glass is also typical of St. Helens. At the same time the blue coloured pieces show the water and the other ones should reflect the Industrial Revolution. After that we put coloured things on it, for example stars which glitter, because it represents our happy feelings about the exchange. We chose the name “horror box” since the glass hurt us very often when working it. And so we thought the name was very funny and appropriate. And on top of that the name is not what it seems.

Ich fand das Projekt sehr toll. Und es hat mir auch außerordentlich Spaß gemacht. Meiner Meinung nach, war das eine sehr gute Mischung aus "Kennernlernen von Nord-West England" und Kunst. Auch den Freiraum, den wir bei unserer Arbeit hatten, mochte ich, da man so viel mehr Raum für eigene Kreativität hatte. Eine gute Idee waren auch die Abende, die wir noch unten in dem "Fernsehraum" verbracht haben. Wenn jeder das gemacht hat wozu er da gerade Lust hatte. Und trotzdem war man als Riesengruppe irgendwie zusammen. Ich habe mich auch sehr darüber gefreut nette Franzosen kennengelernt zu haben. Ich würde das Projekt immer wieder machen.
