Impressions of Chalon
Three schools are currently participating in the project.
Lycée Mathias - This school is located in Chalon-sur-Saône in the beautiful region of Burgundy. The lycée is a secondary school which offers several preparatory courses to its students, among those a literary branch.
Cowley Language College is situated in St. Helens, which lies inbetween Manchester
and Liverpool. The school offers A-levels in different areas, among them very
present the subject of Art.
Georg-Büchner-Gymnasium - A secondary school located in Seelze, in the nearer area of Hannover. The Georg-Büchner- Gymnasium is a comprehensive school ranging from grades 5 to 13. The school curriculum leads towards achieving the "Abitur", or the "A-levels". When reaching this goal students are enabled to move on to university. Currently, about 1.300 students and approximately 90 teachers are learning, teaching and working at our school.
